Super7 have made available all 9 characters appearing in Wave 3 of their popular ALIEN ReAction figure range in a set of 3 boxes. Each box contains 3 characters and can now be purchased from their online store.

First the good News! Finally, we have release details for Super7’s ALIEN Wave 3 ReAction figures. There’s been some speculation regarding the card color for these items and it’s been confirmed in a Facebook post today these will be Classic retro Kenner blue. It looks like Super7’s latest Hammerhead tribute item in their long running ALIEN ReAction figure range has been a sell out success. The figure was originally available as an exclusive item at this past weekend’s San Diego Comic Con. Surplus stock was very briefly available on Super7’s online store. Unfortunately, the item proved to be popular and stock was sold out within 2 hours.
Was I lucky enough to score one of these? Nope. Not at all. Living in Australia makes attending a con on the other side of the planet very difficult. More so, when surplus stock was available for their brief time online, I would have been asleep. Flat Earthers may believe otherwise, but time zones are proof the Earth is round. The Super7 online store has a 25% discount sale for their 18 inch tall facsimile ALIENS ‘prototype’ figure. Originally retailing for $195 it can now be yours for a mere $150.
More of a speculative limited edition item cast in mild blue plastic than a ‘prototype’, this figure is a derivative/tribute item of the good old 1979 Kenner ALIEN action figure we all love so much. Notwithstanding some changes, much of the original Kenner articulation and features are present in this item, including the wonderful ‘mechanically operated jaws!’
So, if you’ve been wanting your very own oversized fake prototype action figure inspired by an ugly ass old toy that didn’t sell very well 40 years ago and don’t want to pay full price for it, then now’s your last opportunity! Limited stocks remaining. No doubt this will sell out soon.

Super7 have revealed what some have speculated to be true. The color scheme on their new 3.75 inch tall ALIEN ReAction figure is indeed based on the Hammerhead character from Kenner’s Star Wars line of action figures in the same scale.
Here’s what Super7 have to say about it, “Alien – Hammerhead Tribute Xenomorph 3.75″ ReAction Figure with coin. SDCC Exclusive. $15 each.” So, we now know the front face of the card art will be. I’m hoping the back side of the card features some Hammerhead art and maybe even info or possibly an image of the earliest known ALIEN prototype sample that used the old Star Wars character as a base.
I wonder what’s on the reverse side of that coin? Looking forward to seeing this get released. This thing does look pretty wild.

Looks like all the Kenner tribute items are up for 30% discount sale at Big Bad Toy Store. Notably, Super7’s ‘Classic Toy Edition’ of their ALIENS Warrior is reduced from US$195 down to US$137.
It’s a fun 1:1 scale tribute item of the 18 inch tall Kenner figure. For $137, you can purchase a banged up version of the original Kenner figure or you can grab this brand spanking new version in a nifty 1980’s themed box (with poster) for the same amount.

Super7 have shared a pair of images on their Facebook page of their upcoming 2018 San Diego Comic Con exclusive of what appears to be a new iteration of their popular 3.75 inch ALIEN ReAction figure, the ‘Coin Alien’.
It’s been speculated the figure is intended as an oblique tribute to the original kit bashed concept piece made by Kenner in 1979. An original 3.75 inch range Star Wars Hammerhead action figure was used as a base to create the first ALIEN prototype in this range. The color scheme on the Super7 item bares more than just a passing resemblance to that Kenner Star Wars character. Continue reading
Super7 are celebrating ALIEN Day with the release of a new Clear Green Hell Queen Alien vinyl sofubi thingy.
Here’s a few words from Super7 about this item “This year Super7 has unleashed the Alien Queen Clear Green Hell! A terrifying clear green 5-inch Japanese vinyl with black paint rub. She comes packaged in a Japanese-style window box and is a limited edition release.”
Super7 have made quite a few of these vinyl queen items, now. Can’t say I’m wild about it – especially at US$65 each. All the same, here’s the link to their online store for some hellish green Royal vinyl lovin’ – if you’re into that sort of thing.

Today, for your reading pleasure we have the ever elusive Spymo ALIEN-MAN. A bootleg figure of considerable reputation but up until recently was exceptionally difficult to find.

Super7’s secret ALIEN ReAction figure has been revealed. The SuperNova variant in their recently released blind box SPACE VILLAIN Series 2 is a honey coloured figure with gold flecks.
These 3.75 inch retro inspired ALIEN ReAction figures are now available direct from Super7’s online store. There’s 4 in the set. A small gallery of them appears below, from left to right: Dwarf Star, Space Dust, Blood Moon; and the previously unknown item, SuperNova. All neat looking pieces.

Super7 have announced the release date for their upcoming series 2 of Popy inspired 3.75 inch tall Blind Box SPACE VILLAIN ReAction figures assortment. They’re being released tomorrow!* …Well, the day after actually. Release date is officially Wednesday – 14th at 12:00 Noon PST. They will be available online from the Super7 Webstore.
As many of us were anticipating these items to be released in late April (4/26… Geddit?) matching the release date of the first series, it’s a welcome surprise to see these released mid March instead. 4 different ALIEN figures will be available, one concealed in each box. Continue reading
Today Super7 released this blood spattered image of the almost 40 year old Kenner ALIEN logo we are familiar with. It was accompanied by the phrase “Final report of the commercial starship Nostromo..”
No doubt it’s a promotional image for their upcoming ReAction line up of Wave 3 figures and blind box items. We already know there will be 2 variants of the new blood spattered Alien figure in the 3.75 inch format with different mouth parts; but do Super7 have more as yet unannounced goodies coming our way as indicated by the Japanese badging? We shall see soon enough.
At the very least, we’ll be seeing more announcements regarding the 3 remaining Nostromo crew members (Parker, Brett and Lambert) in ReAction format as indicated by this announcement very soon. As to them being the last ALIEN items Super7 will release? I doubt it.

More information is slowly emerging regarding the recently announced Super7 ALIEN Wave 3 ReAction figures that appeared at this year’s New York Toy Fair. We now have a series of close ups of the new human characters joining the popular series, Lambert, Parker and Brett, all in ship side crew gear. Accessories for these items are currently unknown, but it’s a safe bet a ‘cattle prod’ will be one of them .
Also included in the set are updated versions of Dallas and Ripley in more screen accurate crew gear. Jones the cat will be Ripley’s new accessory for this release. A Continue reading
Super7 have put in a solid showing at the 2018 New York Toy Fair and their ALIEN range has been well represented. We’ve already posted news about the upcoming 3rd Wave of ReAction figures and we now have some more information and photos of the curious blood spattered figure of the ALIEN.
This item appears to be exclusive to an upcoming 3 packs, of which there will be 3 different packages. This particular figure will feature in one of them (along with Parker and Brett) and posseses a redesigned tongue, more accurate to how it appears in the movie. A flat tongue variant, which was a legacy of the Alien figure when it was originally designed in 1979, will be included in another 3 pack box (with Dallas and Lambert).
Also seen at the Super7 booth were these re-envisioned lolly coloured Blind Box M.U.S.C.L.E variant figures. Super7 is adopting the ‘Keshi’ moniker for these items. The Continue reading
The New York Toy Fair is on right now and we’re expecting some surprise reveals. Unsurprising though, was the reveals for the remaining Nostromo crew members for Super7’s long running ReAction figures. These have been public knowledge for some time and as expected Wave 3 will contain Parker, Lambert and Brett in crew gear. A new version of Dallas and Ripley will also be available; along with a decapitated version of Ash. Looks like Jones will be an accessory figure, too; and a version of Kane in his suit with an unsightly yabby attached to his face.
I’m hoping the blue card backs will make a reappearance. Series 1 featured these as pre-order exclusives. We haven’t seen them since but these are just as likely to be promotional packaging.

It’s big. It’s green. It’s cuddly. You can see through it. It’s the Super7 Acid Green ALIENS Warrior; and it’s a wonderful thing. OK, maybe it’s not so cuddly; but it is GOOD and you WILL like it as outlined in my review of this Halloween 2017 released item.
