Super7 have posted package images of Waves 2&3 ALIENS ReAction Figures on their Facebook page. Ripley, Newt and Bishop will be available from their web site next week. Here’s our intrepid heroine, Lt. Ripley, rescuing Newt from an attack from behind by a wave of slime covered claws and fangs.
ALIENS Wave 1 consisted of three different Xenomorphs and has been available for some time now. Wave 2 featuring Ripley, Newt and Bishop are coming next week. Wave 3, comprising of Hicks Hudson and Vasquez will appear sometime later this year. Here’s a word from Super7, ““Stop your grinnin’ and drop your linen!” Coming in HOT next Wednesday (5/6) from one of Super7’s favorite movies are the HUMAN additions to the Aliens 3.75” ReAction Figures assortment! Super7 ALIENS ReAction Figures Series 2 Coming Next Week.

Each of the 3 eggs in this set are in different stages of disgorging their contents. The first one is closed and inert. The second egg is activated featuring open labia with the contents still inside. The third egg is empty. I believe a facehugger is also included in the set, making it a set of four pieces. At four inches tall, I’m not sure how well these eggs will scale with other Hiya Toys figures at the same height. No released date has been set but pre-order is US$19.99.
Not much more information is available just yet and the figure won’t be available for another twelve months. Nonetheless, we can expect a good range of articulation for this item as their previous ALIEN figures in this range have been well endowed in this area. Below are some more pics to keep you company. Just keep reminding yourself this item is only four inches tall – around the same height as a Super7 ReAction figure but likely to have twice as much articulation. No doubt such comparisons will be inevitable but both companies are producing distinctly different product for the difference of a dollar.
While ALIEN Resurrection may not be the most popular movie in the series, it does appear to be enjoying a growing fan base. I know people who will be very happy to see this item be released in the coming months. Here’s some word from Eaglemoss “

One of the aforementioned “hiccups” has been a difficult pre-order activity for the book. Due to errors/bugs/technical stuffz regarding currency conversion and postage price problems, I’ve had to remove the pre-ordering page. I am still looking into resolving these issues and hope to restore it at a later date. Nonetheless, all existing pre-orders will be honored and those who have purchased the book can expect to receive it in the mail soon after release. Right now, the book is in the publisher’s hands and ready to go to print. I’m just waiting to hear from them.
It’s a good selection of product, all vintage from last century and chronologically presented, starting with 1979 at the top. Of course, that puts the 18 inch Kenner ALIEN toy in pole position. Where it belongs. 
Also known as bootLEGO, just keep in mind these are unlicenced items made in a small production run, hence the high price. They do look great, don’t they! Being unlicenced, a cheaper Chinese knock off version may yet appear at a later date. What? Foreign bootlegs of product that is itself an unlicenced knock off product? Yep. It does happen, surprisingly often. I may have to get some of these.

The truth is, everyone thinks ALIEN-MAN is the best! Forget that Raymond dickhead, everyone loves ALIEN-MAN. This odd figure is definitely one of my favourite knock off figures in my collection and definitely one of my favourite ALIEN figures overall. I even allocated the No.2 spot on my 
The figure itself is only missing the dome but it’s otherwise complete. The crest is present on the back, the jaws work as they should, the head paint is in good state and still glows in the dark; and it even holds a pose with its arms, which is always welcome. A figure in this condition alone will sell for around US$150 to US$250, so the starting bid is very reasonable. Alas, the box itself is in terrible condition, crushed, torn and missing multiple pieces along with a variety of other imperfections, hardly making it a desirable piece. Importantly, it’s still a 1979 Kenner ALIEN box and while it is in seriously distressed state, it will find a home. 
This sample appears to be a little dusty and he does have a scuff mark on his paint coated face. It’s a small concern when the rest of the figure is all there. The Crest on the back may be seated in a broken slot as it appears to droop a little – but he’s in great shape. Nonetheless, at this low, low price a complete sample like this will be scooped up pretty fast. I’ll be very surprised if he’s still available tomorrow morning when I get out of bed. I can’t wait to find out!

Loose pieces from dismantled Kenner ALIEN toys like this frequently appear on eBay. Heads. Domes. Arms. Those funny shaped things sticking out of its back. Sooner or later, they all turn up on eBay. Sometimes in good shape. Sometimes not so good. This leg is broken at the hip with a shattered spindle and flange, reducing it to a severed limb that won’t reattach to the torso without some measured care and attention. Other than the damage present at the join, the piece looks to be in decent shape. Which raises the question, can this item be repaired and returned to the toy?
It’s a good looking figure, too. Complete in all details. Clean and capable of holding a pose. That’s always welcome. The pose on this item is strong enough it looks like it could have come straight off the cover of the 1979 ALIEN board game. A well preserved figure including all parts and no breakages present like this one will easily sell for around the vendor’s listed price of US$350. It’s not too much to ask US$350 for an ugly 40 year old toy nobody wanted back in 1979. Really. You read that right. Under normal conditions without a world wide health crisis forcing everyone indoors and playing havoc with the global economy, this item would sell quickly at this price. It may still do so for one simple fact: There is nothing normal about this toy. No box or poster is included in this sale.
