The Bull Alien was another popular figure for Kenner’s 1990’s return to the ALIENS property. Here is a run of first shots of the action figure. Left and center are a pair of non-production colour first shots along with a black first shot on the right.
Below is another stage of the production run for this figure, later in its development. Here is a protomold (Left), a painted production colour undated first shot possessing an unpainted head (Middle) and a final regular production figure (Right) that would have been available on store shelves during the mid 1990s.
Here is a pair of comparison images that serve to highlight the molding differences between the protomold & the final stage production figure. Notable on this pair of images is the lack of copyright details and country of origin (coo) stamped on the protomold. Both these details are present on the final production piece. Other differences in the molding details are visible in the heads of this pair of figures (See image at top of page.)
