2016 saw the ReAction figure brand expand to accommodate the sequel, ALIENS. This first release featured Ripley, the power loader and the Queen Alien packaged together in a single, windowed 3 pack box. Fresh sculpts of each figure were included in this set and this set of three boxed figures was announced on April 26, 2016 (ALIEN Day). It was available directly from Super7’s online store and other retailers mid that year.
Three figures comprise the set:
Ripley.
Traditional five points of articulation: Hips, shoulders and neck.
Powerloader.
Five points of articulation: Arms at the shoulders and wrists rotate while the roll cage is hinged to open to allow figures to be inserted. Small pegs inside hold the Ripley figure securely by the soles of their feet. No articulation is present in the hips or legs and these limbs are completely static.
Queen Alien.
A traditional five points of articulation exist on the figure despite its distinctly non-human form.These are found at the hips, shoulders and neck. No articulation is present on the tail or the secondary forelimbs.
Additional notes:
– This 3 pack set was the first release of ReAction figures based on the sequel, ALIENS.
– The power loader is fragile and brittle making it susceptible to easy breakage, especially if dropped.
– Legs on the Queen Alien are often very loose and can result in the figure having problems standing without pitching forward onto its face.
