This hand painted hard copy of Kenner’s Swarm Alien comprises both major components of the action figure. The main ‘carrier’ and winged ‘passenger’ (aka, the ‘piggy back bug’.) parts are complete, complex and articulated.
The prototype figure includes the basic compartment recess for the battery and components for its push button operated signature electronic call, a screeching sound that is a unique feature to this Alien action figure.
This sample is largely cast in resin with some plastic pieces present. It is still considered a hard copy as a whole due to the production purposes this piece was used for.
