It happens occasionally where more than one Kenner ALIEN is listed in a sale on eBay. Here, we have 3 for auction with a starting bid at US$449.00.

None of them are complete but let’s take a swift pass on each one and see what they have to offer.

The Left item is just a carcass and worth cannibalising for parts. That’s it. It’s worth about US$50. Not bad for a piece of wreckage as all those parts will come in handy for a rebuild.  The Middle item is the most complete and features all mouth parts and the shoulder crest – it’s just missing the dome.  Not a bad looking figure but the absence of a critical part does devalue it considerably.  It’s worth around US$150 and up.  The figure on the Right is missing a lot of pieces, too.  The dome, shoulder crest, both tongue halves, both arms and tail are all absent.  The head is a little worse for wear but still a valuable piece. This item is worth about US$100.  Of course, none of these prices are set in stone – these things can sell for any amount – and frequently do.  These are common, ballpark quotes.

You could tear down the items on either side and rebuild a decent figure from the parts but it’s pretty quick to see that this trio of incomplete samples is worth below the asking price of US$450.  Around US$300 for this lot would be reasonable.  There’s just too many missing parts across the board here to ask for top dollar on this lot.  The vendor has provided a Best Offer option so it will be interesting to see how long it takes for these items to sell.

That’s the certainty here, this lot of incomplete Kenner ALIEN figures will sell.  It’s just a matter of time and for how much.
