UPDATE: These items have indeed been released as part of “Super7 Days of Christmas” and are now available direct from Super7’s webstore.

Super7’s latest Supercast – Episode 19 – reveals upcoming ALIEN Wave 3 ReAction figures.  This release will see the bloody Alien with its tongue extended, Dallas in screen accurate colours and Ripley with Jones appearing on snappy, blue cards.

Each of these figures were released in a range of 3 box sets of 3 figures apiece some time back.  Furthermore, each of these characters have been released previously on blue cards as part of original Wave 1 variants.  So, unless you want to complete an entire set of Wave 3 ALIEN ReAction figures that was partially released earlier, then these items will duplicate what you already have and they may not be of great interest to you.  Do you really want 4 different versions of the ALIEN just because it’s on blue card?  …hhhhmmm…

Anyway, yeah.  I understand it can get a little confusing.  All the same, this set of 3 items is expected to be released very soon.  Possibly as early as tomorrow.  Super7 have already indicated previously unavailable ALIEN figures will become available for purchase on Friday as part of their ‘Super 7 Days of Christmas’ and these items fit that description.

This will bring the total number of Wave 3 ALIEN ReAction figures released on blue card to 8.  Still missing on blue card will be the decapitated version of Ash which was originally released in one of those aforementioned 3 packs.  Will headless Ash be re-released and join this set eventually?  Probably not, as indicated by Brian Flynn (Owner of Super7) in the video as he says, “we finally have the last 3 alien figures on blue cards”.  So, no.  It looks like decapitated. Ash won’t be joining this selection of blue card releases.
