Here’s something welcome and suitable for children ‘AGES 5 AND UP’ available now on eBay.  It’s a mostly complete 1979 Kenner ALIEN toy.  Mostly.  He’s only lacking in one piece, the upper half of the tongue.  Other than that, he’s all there. Minor scuffs here and there don’t detract from its presentation and it looks like a good piece.  At US$275, this 18.75 inch tall little cutie pie is a bargain!This may seem like a lot of money for an ugly ass old toy that is not only showing some signs of wear and tear but is also incomplete, but it’s actually a very reasonable price.  Figures in this condition can sell for well over US$300 without being sniffed at twice.  Sure, it’s a long way from the US$14.95 (and at one point were being bargain binned at US$4.95) these old blended styene toys originally sold for but times have changed since 1979 and these toys are now highly collectible.

I honestly don’t think this one will last on the service for very long and it will sell reasonably quickly – it will just need an extra piece inside its mouth to complete it and these tongue halves do appear at irregular intervals on eBay. So would I advise spending US$275 here?  Yes. It’s absolutely worth it.
