Right now, the video for the HIDEOUS PLASTIC KickStarter campaign is currently being cut and shaped into something presentable for the campaign when it is launched in early March.Yeah. That’s me in the photo.  Phil ‘Windebieste’ Wlodarczyk, surrounded by old Kenner Aliens and, well, other stuff needed to shoot the video.  I’m sitting at the kitchen table and shooting the raw footage at the ‘Parrott Cage’.  This is the home of Garry Parrott, who shot the narrated raw footage being used as a foundation for the video in his kitchen.  He has been a great help to me during the past 2 years during the writing of the book.  Among the odd things I have been known to ask of him includes standing around in the dark on Saturday nights taking photographs of weird glow in the dark toys.  I can’t say enough kind words about Garry.  He’s been very accommodating of my strange drive to write this book about oversized 38 year old Kenner ALIEN toys, even though he doesn’t quite understand it all.

Garry’s raw footage is now in the hands of videographer, Joe ‘SiL’ Guilar.  So far the results are promising from the rough cut I have seen.  Joe’s been editing it together and the video is largely comprised of Garry’s live footage intercut with content Joe has taken himself.  At this stage, all is progressing very well.

Once Joe has completed his work on the video, it will be handed over to someone else for the soundtrack to be added.  For this important task, I’ll once again be using work composed by Geofrey ‘Le Celticant’ Kenner.  Yeah, that’s his name.  Kenner.  Le C, as I like to call him, composed the soundtrack for the HIDEOUS PLASTIC – Reveal announcement video released late last year.  I’m looking forward to seeing and hearing what these Guys can do to help bring this very important piece of the campaign together.

I’d like to thank Garry, Joe and Le C for their enthusiasm and preparedness to help me get this video made.  A video is an important component to the success of the campaign and it’s not something I could have done without their assistance.  Thank you.

The campaign is scheduled to be launched in early March, 2017.
