There’s a lot to say about this unique item but I’ll keep it brief. He’s missing the usual parts such as the head dome, mouth parts and dorsal crest. All of his other limbs are present and attached. The trigger mechanism on the head to operate the jaw appears to be broken and the mouth hangs open. A wide split on the face indicates an attempt to access the head’s interior.

The most striking feature of this figure is the paint work. The red painted lower lip and right hand contrast dramatically with the white painted ribs. It is all complimented by small red dots strategically placed inside the eye orbits giving the vintage toy a distinct comical appearance. I bet those eyes will “follow” you around a room, too. Fantastic!

Sure. He may be in a ruined, grave state and I’ve seen better paintwork on Mexican bootleg toys; but this IS a unique sample of Kenner’s ALIEN and I love it! You won’t see another one just like it. I’d buy it because even in this condition he’d make a great and dramatic display item. …that is, if the decimal point on the price tag migrated one digit to the left.
