Kubros ALIEN is a new kid on the block. Kubros is a build it yourself modular brick construction set similar to LEGO. Their ALIEN is one of many characters you can purchase and assemble.

My Personal Take On it: Honestly, this Alien looks terrible. Horrible. Hideous? Absolutely! Yeah. Let’s face it. This is truly hideous plastic. It looks like the result you’d get if a Facehugger attached itself to a Minecraft creeper. Oh… 🙁
On the other hand, looks can be deceiving. This item is probably a lot of fun to assemble so don’t let me dissuade you from accepting this little fella into your lives. …and that’s probably the most concerning aspect this figure possesses. I have no idea how big this item actually is. There’s no indication or mention of scale. I’m guessing it’s in the 3 to 5 inch tall range; but I really have no idea. You may have to discover that for yourself. The most important consideration regarding this ugly little critter is the fun you’ll have putting it all together.
Mind you, if you really have a yearning to building an Alien of your own out of LEGO, that’s possible too, albeit using unofficial resources. The ARVO Brothers published a fabulous 220 full color glossy page ALIEN PROJECT guide book that provides you with easy to follow step by step instructions on how to assemble your very own 18 inch tall Alien. Yeah. It’s as tall as a Kenner figure. Too awesome! I also reviewed the book here and I loved it. Clearly, the ALIEN PROJECT book is for more advanced and dedicated LEGO builders but the end result is more authentic, detailed and satisfying.
