Just taking a break from all my house moving tasks to post this News item. Super7 today posted this image on Twitter of Kane’s damaged helmet. This is a teaser image to promote the release of Super7’s upcoming release of their latest Wave 3 of their popular 3.75 inch ALIEN ReAction figures.
Kane in his compression suit with this damaged faceplate and the parasite facehugger attached to his face is one of (the expected) 9 figures to comprise Super7’s latest ALIEN ReAction figure Wave 3 release.
More information regarding the line up for this upcoming series was released some time ago. The anticipated line up is expected to comprise of previously unreleased crew attired Brett, Parker and Lambert along with fresh versions of Dallas and Ripley in more screen accurate crew gear. A new decapitated version of Ash is also being released alongside 2 new variants of the Alien itself, bringing the number of iterations for the creature released up to 17. Jones, the Nostromo’s mascot cat is expected to make an appearance as an accessory.
No date accompanies the Twitter post but rumors abound (probably true according to my sources) that ALIEN ReAction figures Wave 3 is scheduled for release sometime in September. I guess that means we can expect them to be released very soon, now. I’m looking forward to these items hitting the deck. More info as it becomes available.
For me, now it’s back to packing boxes and lugging furniture around. I’ll be back soon.
