Here’s something neat I found on flickr. LEGO artist, AL13N163NA, has posted a wonderful LEGO ALIEN 3 Bambi Burster.
He has this to say about it. “With the permission of the great masters Arvo Brothers based on their design of the chestbruster, almost a year ago I created two xenomorphs of some movie of this saga”
AL13N163NA’s influence, the Arvo Brothers, have been known to produce some fantastic custom LEGO Projects, including publishing books about them so you can replicate the result. Here’s a review of one of their books that documents how to build an 18 inch tall Alien figure out of LEGO. Needless to say, I love this book.
It’s enough to make you wish LEGO would step up and start releasing ALIEN themed kits. I’m sure most people who purchase LEGO do so for themselves and are over 18, anyway.
